Acceptable Recycling Materials
Only place recyclable materials into your recycling container!
Please empty and rinse all food and beverage containers.

Aseptic containers Aseptic containers are sterile cardboard containers, which are used to preserve food.

Fruit juice boxes
Glass All glass food, beverage jars and bottles. Remove metal lids and place separately in bin.

Metal All metal food and beverage containers including those made of aluminum, tin, steel and bi-metal.

Put used motor oil in one-gallon (or less) plastic container with tight-fitting screw-top lid. You may place up to three one-gallon containers next to your recycling cart for pick up on your regular collection day.
Used Oil Filters
Put fully drained used oil filters in sealed, leak-proof plastic bags and place next to your recycling cart.

Multi-Family Dwelling / Apartment Recycling Program

Recology South Bay offers collection of glass, plastic types 1-7, tin, aluminum, mixed paper, newspaper and cardboard. Service can be adjusted any time, depending on resident needs.
Our program is only $2.53 per unit per month, to be included in the monthly utility bill. Literature describing program guidelines is also distributed to all units.
